Lake Rahasya Retreat House

in Bristol New York
www.rahasyaretreats.com

Taking time for a yoga retreat allows your body, mind and heart to explore and integrate its expanding strength, flexibility and softness. A retreat is not only a time to do a lot of asana - it is a time to learn how to contemplate deeply & discover the endless unfolding & enfolding of the Rajanaka-Tantra philosophy within.

Our Bristol Retreat House is a quaint log cabin set amidst 20 plus acres of rolling hills, overlooking our private 3.5 acre lake. Located in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York, famous for its vineyards and dairy farms, the scenery is breathtaking. We will practice asana in our newly constructed Yoga studio, Each room includes 2 or 3 bunk beds of twin and full sizes to accommodate everyone in a cozy and family-style environment. During free afternoons & evenings you can lounge on the deck, read curled by the fireplace or gaze at the stars in the black night sky. Swimming, canoeing, & hiking are just a few of the other possibilities here at the cabin. To have a place of retreat is not simply to relax, it is a place to go deeper into the conversation of your heart.

Cost: $595

The great Epic Mahabharata contains stories that provide deep allegories and take us across thresholds of understanding to the deepest recesses of the Self. Join us for this adventure into the depths of the epic heart; you need only bring a willing ear and a desire to explore the places where few have travelled. There are no prerequisites or requirements of reading ---just bring an open mind, a willing heart, and an eagerness to learn some of the most beautiful narratives in yogic lore.
